The teams present at the Tour

Still six days and the Tour of the Centenniar will officially start from Venice. The wait for which one will be the protagonist of 2009 edition, who’ll harass the outgoing champion Alberto Contador, is great. Twenty-two are the formations admitted to the lap, the most of which belong to the international track of Pro Tour. The great absences will be those of Basque Euskaltel-Euskadi and French Cofidis and Francaise des Jeux formations, while there’ll be three of the Italian ones. Here you have in alphabetical order: the Italian one Acqua&Sapone – Caffè Mokambo, the French one Ag2R La Mondiale, the Kazaka one Astana, Barloworld, the French one Bbox Bouygues Telecom, the Spanish one Caisse D’Epragne, the Swiss one Cervelo Test Team, the United States one Garmin – Slipstream, the Swiss one Fuji-Servetto, the Italian ones Isd, Lampre-Ngc and Liquigas, the Irish one Lpr Brakes – Farnese Vini, the Belgian ones Quick Step and Silence-Lotto, the Dutch one Rabobank, the Venezuelan one Serramenti Pvc Diquigiovanni – Androni Giocattoli, the American one Team Columbia – High Road, the Russian one Katusha, the German one Milram, the Danish one Saxo Bank and in short the Spanish one Xacobeo Galicia. The best cyclists are going to compare each other on climbs, chrono and stages very quickly. There are all the requirements to attend to a first-rate competition, the rest is all to wait the start from Venice next weekend.
